Growing up in Kashmir, India, Faizan had firsthand experiences facing devastating earthquakes.

Faizan aims to develop building structural systems that are not only safe but also resilient against catastrophic events. Faizan graduated with honors from the National Institute of Technology, India with bachelor’s in civil engineering, and pursued his masters in structural engineering from the University of Washington, Seattle.

Out of the office, Faizan likes to spend time hiking, cycling, and playing soccer.
