Clayton has over 15 years of experience as a Structural Drafter, beginning his career working alongside his father, the late Gary Mills, a structural engineer. His focus on work ethic and high standards is a direct influence from his father—one he continues to carry forward today.

 Although Clayton’s first career path was in film, the transition from non-linear editing to computer-aided drafting came naturally. He developed his foundation composing structural details in AutoCAD across a wide range of project types. Over time, he has become increasingly involved in the preparation and coordination of construction documents, working closely with engineers to translate design intent into clear, accurate drawings with an emphasis on quality, consistency, and efficient production.

 As the industry has evolved, Clayton has expanded his skill set from AutoCAD into Revit-based workflows, continuing to refine his approach with each project.

 Clayton works quickly and methodically, often preferring to let the drawings speak for themselves.

 Outside of work, he stays active at the gym, follows market trends, and spends time with his Miniature American Shepherd, Typo, who maintains high standards of his own.
