Ana Karina graduated from the University of Carabobo, Venezuela with a bachelor’s in civil engineering. In her time at this university, Ana Karina published a scientific thesis on non-orthogonal earthquake-resistant systems. She has 4 years of experience as a Structural Engineer primarily with companies based in Venezuela and Chile. At Solid Rock, Ana Karina is part of the BIM production team where she is responsible for development of models and drawings for a wide variety of projects including commercial, education, healthcare, hospitality, retail, site improvements and tenant improvements. Her experience encompasses the full spectrum of material types: steel, concrete, masonry, cold-formed steel, and wood.

Ana Karina is continuously developing and growing her knowledge as a BIM production team member and Structural Engineer by being involved in various organizations and taking part in online classes.

Outside work, she enjoys hiking, salsa dancing, and playing tennis.
